For over 30 years, The Growing Place has been dedicated to supporting the unique and individual needs of children and their families. In 2006 we celebrated our 30 anniversary and commissioned a custom-designed Liztech pin to honor our special milestone.

 

The giraffe has been The Growing Place mascot since 1976.  Giraffes are meaningful to The Growing Place because they organize care for their young in nurseries; some mothers watch groups of young giraffes while other mothers go out and forage for food.
