Four clearances are required to work in a licensed child care in Pennsylvania.  They are PA Criminal Records, PA Child Abuse, FBI, and National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR).  You must have the results before you can start working, so we encourage anyone interested in working with children to get started on them!  The NSOR is free, so we recommend at least getting that one. You can access the form HERE.  Criminal Records and Child Abuse must be for "Employment"; we are not able to accept "Volunteer" clearances.

If you have lived outside of PA within the last five years, you must also get clearances from your previous state or states.
