The Growing Place Pre-K Counts
Pre-K Counts was established by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to bring quality pre-kindergarten to Pennsylvania preschoolers. Pre-K Counts is for children who may be at risk of school failure due to family income, language, cultural issues, special needs, or other circumstances.
The collaboration of The Growing Place Child Care Centers and Pleasant Valley School District was awarded Pre-K Counts funds to deliver a half-day preschool program, five days a week, to 68 at-risk area four-year-olds. This program is free to families who qualify. Pre-K Counts is held September through June. This program is held in Brodheadsville.
The phone number at The Growing Place Pre-K Counts is 570-402-0127.
